3.1 Market Background

On Monday, October 10th, in the early trading session, the Nasdaq Composite dropped more than 1.1%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by nearly 150 points, down over 0.4%, and the S&P 500 Index dipped nearly 0.6% when it hit a new intraday low. Subsequently, the losses narrowed, and during the midday session, they collectively turned upward, maintaining a positive trend. At the close, all three major indices had recorded their second consecutive trading day of gains.

On the same day, Dallas Fed President Lorie Logan suggested that the recent surge in long-term U.S. bond yields might reduce the necessity for the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates again.

During the Asian session on October 11, Bitcoin rapidly declined to around $27,000 before gradually stabilizing. Bitcoin, after four hours of trading within the range of $27,130 to $26,950, saw the bears unable to further drive the price down.
